INGREDIENTS: For the beef sauce: - 1 lb ground beef - 1 small onion, finely chopped - 2 garlic cloves, minced - 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce or marinara - 1 tbsp olive oil - 1 tsp salt, or to taste - 1/2 tsp black pepper For the potato layers: - 4-5 potatoes, thinly sliced - 1 1/2 cups heavy cream - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese - 1/2 tsp garlic powder - Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet, cook the onion and garlic until soft, then add the ground beef and brown it. 2. Stir in the tomato sauce, salt, and pepper, and simmer 10 minutes. 3. Mix the cream with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. 4. Layer in a greased baking dish: potatoes, beef sauce, cream, and cheese, repeating until everything is used, finishing with cheese on top. 5.
