My biggest fear as a parent with my kids at recess at school they are just out in the open and anything could happen. I try not to let those thoughts consume me but damn. Sorry to the families and kiddos who had to experience this. 😔

I'm so sorry that our country is like this, but we HAVE to teach our kids to RUN the second they even THINK they hear gunshots. I was in an active shooter situation, and too much time is wasted trying to talk ourselves out of believing that those were gunshots.
