@christiandailyusa: 🚨 BREAKING: Tesla is ending the Cybertruck. Elon Musk announced on X that Tesla will wind down Cybertruck production at Gigafactory Texas around the middle of 2027 — less than four years after the first deliveries — to make room for increased production of the Cybercab robotaxi. The stainless-steel pickup never came close to Musk's ambitions: Tesla built the line for 250,000 trucks a year, but sales ran at roughly a tenth of that, and Cybertruck sales are down 28% so far in 2026. Musk did not say whether production could move to another factory, but Cybertruck lead engineer Wes Morrill appeared to confirm the end: "Cybertruck was an incredible technology development platform and lives on through Cybercab."
