For so long, I allowed people and situations into my life that were never aligned with what God had for me. I allowed people to speak things over me that didn’t line up with the Word of God. And somewhere along the way, I started believing things about myself that God NEVER said! But the whole time, God was calling me back to HIM! See, God showed me when I was a little girl that I was different. I was always the black sheep. Always the one who didn’t fit in. But what I didn’t understand back then was that God had a DIFFERENT calling on my life! I wasn’t created to fit in with everybody else! And one thing I’ve come to realize is that people may be surprised by my past, my mistakes, and the decisions I’ve made, but NOTHING about my life has ever taken God by surprise! He knew every mistake, every wrong turn, every tear, and every time I would fall. And He STILL loved me! I am the apple of His eye! I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus! Greater is HE that is in me than he that is in the world! And today, I’m choosing to believe what GOD says about me instead of what people have spoken over my life! So, my sister, my brother, GET UP! Get up out of that hurt! Get up out of that guilt! Get up out of that misery! Stop allowing the enemy to convince you that your story is over! God is STILL in control, and He is NOT finished with you! Today, I release everything that has kept me from walking in who God created me to be.
