@razborgruz.engine: Martha Stewart Confronts Craig Melvin Over Her Controversial Halloween Costume Martha Stewart is apologizing once again for her tone-deaf Halloween costume—and clearing the air with the person she originally blamed for it. The lifestyle mogul appeared on the Today show for a live interview with anchor Craig Melvin to address the ongoing backlash. Over Halloween weekend, Stewart posted a photo of herself dressed as a homeless person, wearing tattered clothes and holding a cardboard sign begging for food. The internet quickly dragged her for making light of poverty. But earlier this week, the controversy took an unexpected turn when Stewart claimed she only wore the costume because Melvin accidentally spilled chocolate on her original outfit during a previous Today show appearance. With only ten minutes to get ready, she claimed it was the easiest option. Now, sitting face-to-face with the news anchor, Melvin pressed her on why he was dragged into the scandal. Stewart insisted she was only making a joke, adding that she did not actually blame him. Melvin made sure to clarify on live television that he was absolutely not responsible for her costume choice. During the interview, Stewart called her costume "stupid," revealing that when she texted a photo of it to her grandson, he immediately warned her that she was being tone-deaf. She offered a sincere apology to her fans and the country, emphasizing that she never meant to mock the serious social issues facing vulnerable Americans. Stewart says she has learned her lesson and hopes to move on from the controversy. Do you think she handled the apology well? #MarthaStewart #Halloween #TodayShow #CraigMelvin #CelebrityNews
