@simply.jennie13: Post 6 | 🤎 HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS | Thanksgiving Made Simple 🦃 Soft, fluffy + loaded with cinnamon filling. Perfect for Thanksgiving morning! Save this one! MAKES: 12 large rolls DOUGH 1 cup warm milk (110–115°F) 2½ tsp instant rapid rise yeast 2 large eggs, room temperature ½ cup salted butter, melted + slightly cooled ½ cup granulated sugar 1 tsp salt 4 cups bread flour FILLING 1 stick (½ cup) salted butter, softened 1 cup packed brown sugar ¼ cup flour 2 tbsp cinnamon CREAM CHEESE FROSTING 6 oz cream cheese, softened ⅓ cup butter, softened 2 cups powdered sugar ½ tbsp vanilla DIRECTIONS 1. Pour warm milk into a stand mixer bowl + sprinkle yeast on top. Let sit 3–4 min until it starts to foam. 2. Add eggs, melted butter + sugar. Mix until combined. 3. Add salt + 4 cups flour + mix. Switch to the dough hook + knead 5–7 min. Keep the dough on the stickier side; don't add more flour! That's what keeps them soft + fluffy. 4. Cover + let rise in a warm spot about 1 hour, until doubled. 5. Stir filling ingredients together until smooth. The flour keeps the filling from leaking out while baking. 6. Roll dough into a 16x20-inch rectangle. Spread filling edge to edge, roll up tightly from the long side + cut 12 rolls. 7. Place in a greased 9x13 pan. Cover + rise 30–45 min until puffy. 8. Bake at 350°F for 20–25 min until golden. 9. Beat frosting ingredients until fluffy + spread over the warm rolls.
