We have the same problem in Midtown amd Downtown Memphis. Midtown is the worst. There will be ZERO no parking signs and one particular towing company tows whatever they want whenever they want! Then on Sundays, they are open for like 4 hours. There have been news stories about them here. PB&J Towing around here.

I worked in downtown Birmingham for years and years couldn’t tell you how many parking tickets I’ve had never got towed though

This happened to me! In September! As I waited for an uber to get my car I watched as they took car after car. They are making a ton of money.

My reaction is what a cool person you are. Taking a situation like this and turning it around to make a suggestion to fix the problem is nothing short of amazing. Four years ago my car was towed after 5 minutes despite paying. They towed my car. Pulled a gun on me, my husband and my 10 year old. Next day they killed someone.
