@thecostcoedit: 90 DAYS WITHOUT POWER?! 😳🔦🇺🇸 From emergency food storage and bottled water to canned goods, batteries, solar-powered essentials, pet food, and other survival supplies… Costco has a LOT more than I expected! Some of these emergency preparedness finds are surprisingly affordable, and others had me questioning my entire budget. 💀 And before anyone questions number 14 I'm not spending 90 days listening to everyone complain they're bored. If you had to survive 90 days without electricity, what’s the ONE thing you’d absolutely refuse to go without? 📌 SAVE this Costco emergency preparedness shopping list for your next trip #prepper #pentagon #griddown #doomsday #poweroutage
your list is pretty much what we bought at Costco 2 weeks ago including the Jackery Explorer 1500.

I saved all of the packs of salt and pepper from takes outs and we have not eaten take out food for years. The plastic ware spoons forks etc plus I purchased several years ago a big box of plastic cutlery just in case. Also those take outs usually include packs of sauce. It may be old by now but it will help season your food. lol

That water from kirklands is a little over 5 gallons. 40 (16.9 fl oz). One person would need 6 of those packs for 1 month! Add that up for a family for 90 days😳

I designed a covered patio in 2023 and had it built. Fireplace with gas logs was built in the plan, also a spot for our gas grill. We have a 500 gallon propane tank since we gave fuel fuel heating systems one in each side of our house. I had the gas county run a gas line from the 500 propane tank to each fire place and to the grill. Then they ran a line from 500 gallon tank to our whole house Generac generator. If the power goes out we will not use the generac unless

Also purchased baby wipes to clean yourself up if there is no water. Dry shampoo will help also. Make sure to have a first aid kit.

Just say if power is off longer than expected or you runout of what you prepped for, what will you do ? You will live off if the land. Which means hunting wildlife deer etc. my husband used to be an avid hunter and stopped years ago,but he would hunt again to provide for us. Thank goodness he knows how to do all of that. You would have to cook your kill over open fire outside you can not eat it raw. You better learn some of this now how to survive in case. We have deer every night that come up in our back yard. Just something to think about. You can not eat all of the meat before it would go bad. So you share it or make sure to buy plenty of salt to cure that left over deer. Just something to think about. I have thought about all of this for years. The what ifs.

Purchase beef jerky and chomps sticks, fried fruit, trail mix bags with nuts and dried fruit. Purchase powdered milk to just add water if milk is needed. Buy canned fruits. Make sure you wipe off or rinse top of cans you should always do this without a crisis. Sometimes mice get in warehouses and if rat urine us on a can that can kill you.

if you plan on investing, long-term in grain, go to a grainery. Because the difference in price for a big box store versus a grainery is huge. Paid 12 bucks for 25 pounds at a big box store, or pay 12 bucks for 50 pounds, it's a no-brainer.
