In some weird way I connected to your story, my biological mother, turned out to be my abuser when I was an infant. my aunt, her sister stepped in and said she would adopt me, and did. the whole family was very dysfunctional, I'm not saying it was horrible after I was adopted but it was ok. its very hard to break the cycle...I'm glad I was able too do that. I followed you because I came across your story. I wish you nothing but the best!
