I never expected something that stressed me out so much to end up changing my life… 🥹👇 When I went onto £187 a week in maternity pay, I started worrying about everything. The bills, the cost of raising a baby and how we were going to manage when my maternity leave came to an end. I felt like I was spending more time stressing about money than actually enjoying being a mum. And the closer I got to returning to work, the more I dreaded the thought of being away from my little girl five days a week 💔 I wanted to be there for the little things, the milestones and all those moments you never get back. But I also needed to bring in extra money, and I couldn’t see how to do both. So I started learning about digital marketing and selling digital products from my phone. I wasn’t an influencer, had no experience or following, I definitely didn’t r feel ‘ready’ and was genuinely learning as I went 😂 But I gave it a go anyway… for a chance at the life I’m living now 🥹 ✨ Over £9,000 earned from my phone ✨ Able to return to work part-time ✨ Taken my family away ✨ Just moved to our forever home 🩷 More time with my little girl without feeling like I’m missing everything What’s crazy is, if my maternity pay hadn’t dropped so much, I probably would never have looked for another option. I’d be back working 40+ hours a week, wishing I had more time with my daughter. Instead, that stressful time pushed me to try something completely new, and I’m so grateful it did 🥹 So if you’re a mum worrying about money on maternity leave, or dreading what life will look like when it ends, I want you to know that you do have other options.
