@globalspiritualstudies: What is Hod? The eighth Sephirah, the Sephirah of the thinking mind. Lesson 4 of 11. "When your Hod is working correctly or working well, we get to the point where we actually can't tell a lie." Hod translates as reverberation or glory: the glory of the illuminated mind, the part of the intellect that learns and communicates. Evelynne Joffe points out that every Sephirah has a secret title except Hod, because Hod deals with facts, not abstracts. Its virtue is truthfulness. A balanced Hod also lets us see where others are lying to us, and she admits that can be difficult too. A question to sit with: where in your life is it easiest, and hardest, to tell the plain truth?
