Say what you want about the film but if anythings over glazed its Godzilla Minus One not Minus Zero. GMZ was better than GMO for sure in just about every way.

It was a solid movie but man some of those scenes DRAGGED. Ghidorah was incredible even though it looked like a dragon from Game of Thrones lol

This is always the problem with a sequel instead of letting the story grow from the point that captivated the viewer in the first place the plot gets pushed into bigger visuals not expanded story telling. and if you are familiar with Godzilla the ride in Japan which the director also helped create minus zero almost feels like an expanded promo for it. Even the final fight is just about the same as the rides

I see your points. I invested in the characters including the new ones so I found it engaging. The sound was unreal. Felt those fights im my bones.
