@pointedbyjared: The Amex gods want you to go to Italy. 🇮🇹 American Express just dropped two Amex Offers that will save you hundreds of dollars on your next trip to Italy. Here's exactly how it works. ITA Airways: add the offer to your card, spend $1,250 or more, and get $225 back as a statement credit. Two round trip economy tickets are enough to trigger it. ITA flies nonstop to Rome from major US cities like New York, Boston, Miami, Chicago, Washington DC, Los Angeles and San Francisco, and nonstop to Milan from New York. The $225 isn't the only thing you get back. ITA Airways is also on Rakuten at 4% cash back. Rakuten is a cash back portal. You click through to the store and earn a percentage of what you spend back. If you have an Amex, don't take the cash. Link your Amex to Rakuten and switch your payout to Membership Rewards points, so that 4% becomes 4x points. On a $1,250 booking with the Platinum: ✅ 5x from the card on flights booked directly with the airline = 6,250 points ✅ 4x from Rakuten = 5,000 points ✅ $225 back from the Amex Offer = 9x total. 11,250 points and $225 back. On the Gold or Green, the card earns 3x, so it's 7x total. That's 8,750 points and $225 back. Add the offer before you book, then go through Rakuten to the ITA Airways US site. Rakuten won't pay out on orders placed through other countries' sites. Book by 11/30/26. New to Rakuten? Use the link in my bio to get 5,000 bonus points, or comment "Rakuten" and I'll send you the link directly. Amex also dropped an offer for Italo, Italy's high speed train. There are multiple versions out there, so check your card. The one I've seen is spend $250 or more in a single purchase on italotreno.com/en or the Italo app, get $50 back, through 12/27/26. 🚆 Don't see these offers? Chat with a rep in the Amex app and ask if they'll add them. Always worth a shot. Drop any questions in the comments and I'll answer them. Follow for more tips to supercharge your points accumulation, elevate your travel, and let's work smarter — not harder. 🚀 #Amex #Rakuten #PointsAndMiles #TravelHacks #italytravel
