Never use metal spoons or switch temperature like that in a glass jar. It doesn’t like it. It’s best to mix it in a pot that can take the temperature changes. Then transfer it to the glass jar.

I was making carnitas. That was a mixture of garlic, onion, Coke, etc. My house smelled so bad for a few days. (The glass pitcher came unscrewed from the pitcher base when I tried to pull it off the main base.)
