My ex had BPD and a part of me still feels for him and misses him. He was genuinely such a sweet and wonderful person, but when he split.. it felt like he was a different person. I know he didn’t mean it because afterwards, he would feel extreme guilt and cry about it but I wish he tried harder to get help.

This was me for 4 yrs. Which is why him and I were back and forth- but once he did dv to me, something snapped in my brain. And I can never ever want him ever again.. when a man punches walls, yelling.. you have to force yourself to face the reality that if you were to go back- he could potentially put you in the morgue.. if it doesn’t make you snap out of it- get therapy

Going through this rn. My fiancé strangled me and we’re no contact. It’s been over a month. I’m so heartbroken, living an actual fucking nightmare. I miss him and still love him and we have children together. 💔

i feel less guilty about feeling like this, i have been out that relationship since june-july and trust me i been talking on and off with him until this october 20, he tried contacting me again on somewhere else i didn’t block him from, but luckily i met someone who is nothing like him and in a way helping me heal all the trauma my ex made me go through

Wow I needed this. I was engaged to mine and with him almost 8 years. Only relationship I ever had. I know he’s psychologically and emotionally abusive and it can’t work but yes I do miss him. I wait for the day I won’t miss him but maybe it’s just something I have to get used to. That cycle really was addicting.

Even beyond the abuse cycle! I loved him and was with him for a reason, I miss him sometimes. I DO NOT MISS THE ABUSE or his values and mindset. It hurts cuz I think if we had different upbringings we would’ve really had a different time together. Sad

I feel like this is the only video I could ever relate to. It’s been 3 years, we’re still together. We break up and get back together every other 3 days. Right now is the only time we’ve been consistent for about 2-3 weeks of not breaking up. I agree in leaving your abuser and I’m not fully against leaving him, but he’s making the sacrifice in changing

I’m so thankful that my ex and I made it impossible for us to get back together. It’s weird to say and hear that. But after I asked for a divorce, in moments where he wanted things to return back to normal I wasn’t on the same page. And times where I wanted it to return back to normal, he had already moved to a different state and life was way too complicated. Too many bridges were burned, too much of our finances were a mess, my survival mode made it impossible, and I’m so grateful.
