It’s due to lack of proper hygiene and handling of food, cross contamination, and improper temperature storage of raw meats. Especially because the foods are served with fresh herbs and vegetables that can’t be cooked to make safer to consume.

Iv worked in a Hospital kitchen the last 4 years and this triggers me big time. The basic food prep and safety guidelines are said so often that most people roll their eyes when they have to hear it again. 😳
