John you’re doing amazing with him! Don’t let people bring you down. You’re the one there with him. You know him. Even on his worst days he’s there purring with you. You have saved his life and whether it’s days, weeks, months or years. You have given him unconditional true love. You have given him safety. He is happy. Even on his bad days he’s a handsome happy boy. You’re his whole world!! You’re an amazing person. We know you’re doing everything you can. And when his time does come just know we will grieve with you. And don’t feel obligated to make videos for us if you need time to be offline we’ll be here when you’re ready. But the world will grieve him with you. You’re not alone!

Love you Clarence. I’m a vet assistant in a shelter and may I say you are doing amazing. You are making the best decisions you can for him. Sometimes cats like him just stop eating and you are doing everything right.

The one thing I am very aware of (having cats of my own) is that there’s not a person outside of my home, other than my vet, who knows these cats better than I do. No one knows Clarence better than you do. You’re with him daily. You’re monitoring his behavior. So, because I haven’t been reading through the comments, I hope people have been kind and mindful that they’re not in your shoes. We know that you are doing the best for him. We trust you in that. And Clarence is a lucky kitty. I’m also terribly sorry that you’re having to deal with the emotional ups and downs of caring for him. I know how hard that can be.💔

Just keep doing what you are doing......Clarence knows you love him.......Ive had to put 4 to sleep and its heartbreaking every single time.......making that decision is the hardest one-I waited with my last one till he couldnt stand up. I was helping him to his tray to pee. We had the home vet come out and he fell asleep forever in his favourite spot on my bed. Bless you both, enjoy his purrs xoxo

We had to make the hard decision for our sweet Nando earlier this year. And we did all the same things you are doing and it does help and buy time x you’re absolutely doing the best by him and he knows it.

I’m not sure if my comment on another video is one you read, but my cats when I got them were a little nauseous from not eating and a little plain boiled and cooled white fish helped them start eating again. Might be worth a try if he quits eating again
