@eganfilm: Four of the Cornell Seven have now piled on to try to remove Letitia James from the high-profile case. James responded by appointing Jacqueline Kelly, most recently in the headlines for putting Diddy behind bars. The whole biased argument is wild to me because they are only re-opening the case because they believe there was wrongdoing. Their believing there was wrongdoing is not then an argument of bias. “Your honor I was arrested because I was caught breaking the law, and my breaking the law biased the prosecutor against me!” We’ll see how that plays out as the case unfolds, but the inclusion of Kelly should erase any such argument and put us on the road to a grand jury and criminal indictments. The group chat messages, to me, show the Cornell Seven caught red-handed. They show motive, state of mind, and intent. I don’t know how anyone can read “you can walk right in and whip it out” and not immediately form a very strong, and very negative, opinion. #cornelluniversity #crime #law
