Hey so I want you to know I discovered your storyline about 2 months ago when I was going through a low point in my relationship. I suspected her of cheating but had no proof whatsoever. I made her sit down and watch every single episode of your story time with me, hoping it would shake some truth out of her. Within a week, I found out about her emotional affair with her much younger coworker. Ever since she got caught, most of her reactions have resembled Emma’s almost verbatim. At one point when we were arguing about her coworker, I demanded to know how long it had been going on and she said, “Well, since you apparently know everything, I guess it doesn’t matter” and I yelled back, “YOU SOUND LIKE EMMA” which she didn’t like, but hey if the shoe fits. As for where we’re at currently, I’m in a numb purgatory where I’m trying to heavy lift the healing steps. But it feels like it’s just me. I don’t have a lot of support around me and keeping up with your story time has given me some direction, light, and clarity during all this. Thank you for your strength and honesty, I’m hoping to get on your level one day. Jargaritas and fluffy sweaters and all.

I truly believe they have a playbook because so much of this is exactly what I went through. He cheated and he wanted the divorce but it took 4 yrs because signing meant he no longer held any power over me. Anyone who divorces a narcissist deserves a medal because it’s is for sure psychological warfare.
