@htowndailynews: A manhunt is underway in northwest Harris County after a 17-year-old allegedly shot and killed his father early Friday morning during a domestic dispute. Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies and Precinct 1 officers responded to a residence on Westbank Avenue, near West Road and Fairbanks North Houston Road, around 1:20 a.m. Upon arrival, emergency personnel located the body of a 37-year-old man suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. Preliminary investigation reveals that a verbal altercation between the father and son escalated, prompting the teenager to produce a handgun, shoot his father, and flee the scene. While the precise trigger for the conflict remains under investigation, family members reported that the two had a history of recurring arguments. The suspect’s mother and two younger siblings, ages 12 and 14, were inside the home at the time of the shooting. Authorities confirmed none of them sustained physical injuries. #htx #htown #houston #houstontx #houstontexas
