But this year feels different.... there's a sadness quietly sitting alongside the excitement. Today, as we start cleaning the vessels and prepare the statues of our deities for Diwali, I find myself reflecting on what I want to welcome into my life. ✨A little more lightness in my heart. ✨A little more light and love in our home. ✨A deeper appreciation for the beautiful, simple things in life. ✨And blessings for a new year, a new chapter, and a path that is still unfolding. I'm realizing that I don't have to choose between sadness and joy. Grief and gratitude can sit side by side. And maybe that's what this Diwali is teaching me.
