@splenda_glenda: POV: You just found your next Texas getaway spot! 🤎 If you and your spouse (or your little family) are looking to escape the city, slow down, take in beautiful views, and enjoy a little quality time away from screens, this is your sign to book a stay at @The Retreat on the Hill in Cottonwood Shores, Texas! We stayed in The Twins, and one thing I genuinely loved was that there were NO TVs in the room. Honestly, it was so refreshing! Sometimes you just need to unplug, put the phones down, and enjoy being present with the people you’re with. We spent time enjoying the beautiful porch, taking in the views, and hanging out around the fire pit at night. There’s just something so peaceful about being able to sit outside and enjoy the moment. Another thing I loved was that you can walk down to the bottom of the hill, to @freshAFpark where there’s a little something for everyone! They have food options, a playground, a bounce house for the kiddos, and even a bar for the grown-ups. Because sometimes mama deserves a margarita while watching the kids play! 😂Whether you’re looking for a romantic little getaway with your spouse or a unique family stay, this place really has something special.
