@themichaelgriffiths: How to make leaf mould faster 🍂 Put your leaves in a black bag, pop a grass trimmer inside and pull the top tight. It shreds the leaves, not the bag. Shredded leaves rot down much quicker than whole ones, or you can spread them straight onto borders as a mulch. Wear eye protection and keep the bag on the ground. #gardening

I just couldn’t do this in case there are already worms that have moved in. We’ve got a container in our back alley that we fill. Then we lift it at the end of the next summer and transfer to felt bags to continue breaking down for at least another year. No need to rush the process [Like]
