My humble suggestion is that both ideas—adopting a child for Mama and building a house for her—are good. However, we should consider the future to avoid unnecessary disputes. If Mama’s brother is willing to provide land for the house, I suggest there should be no adoption. Instead, Mama can take one of her siblings’ children to raise, and that child can eventually inherit the house. However, if the public /family wants Mama to adopt a child, then those willing to build the house should first purchase land in Mama’s name before building on it. That way, the adopted child can legally inherit the property when Mama passes on at old age. My reason is simple: if Mama’s brother provides the land and an adopted child is brought into the picture, there could be disagreements in the future. His children might later claim that the land belongs to their father, even though he gave it to his sister. Let us think about tomorrow while making decisions today. Both suggestions are good, but we should put proper arrangements in place now to avoid future conflicts and unnecessary family disputes
