This is no shade to the nurse but why would she ask you what you’re most afraid of?? Like I think most people’s answer would be dying

did you ever drink energy drinks, alot of coffee, did you exercise??? my biggest fear is a heart attack and what calmed me down is knowing it’s rare in young people but this whole week i’ve seen 4 young ppl speak up about having heart attacks. plus the marathon runner whom died😭😭😭

I hate how vague and random myocarditis is! My brother was a rare one who got it after the Covid vaccine and it was a less intense but slow burn type of thing. He ended up with permanent scarring on his heart. I really hope they can get more research and insight into why young people get affected so much with it. Hope you keep improving! The Facebook groups have been really helpful for us!!

apparently my ef was below 20% my er doctor said it was actually 10 and I had no idea I was completely fine days leading up to that day when I started feeling shortness of breath they had no idea what caused it either, I had to wear a external defibrillator for about a month when they finally realized I had an abnormal heart rhythm my whole life and it was slowly weakling my heart. two cardiac ablations later & i’m healing but my ef is 45% now and my cardiologists say I should return completely back to normal. it’s so so scary how everything is okay and you feel weird one day and it completely changes your life. i’m also 24 and feel so alone in this thank you for sharing your story i’m right there with you ❤️🩹 sending love

Such an amazing testimony!! When you say you made a full recovery — do you feel like you can run, workout at the gym, etc like you did before or does it feel different now? Just curious! So glad you’re okay!!
