First group of three is weird. The first two books are commentaries on nag Hamadi books, the one on secret John is genuinely good.. but then the ‘best’ is a single, very short book from just one of the nag Hamadi codices? Why not just recommend the whole nag Hamadi ? Marvin Meyer translation is particularly good. I feel like you’re not even recommending the commentary on secret John you’re just recommending the book itself, which is so weird when you’re rating it against Kevin littles modern commentary of the same texts?? Basically what are you talking about.

Owning the books is the first step, but living their philosophy is the real alchemy. Since you’ve read most of them, which one shifted your perspective the most on escaping the mundane society?" If the universe is governed by mental laws as these books suggest, is the reality we live in now our true choice, or are we living in a reality designed for us by the consciousness of others? A question that requires deep reflection."

I’m still not sure what I think about NoorAshby archetype quiz. Some parts felt obvious and other parts were strangely specific. I’m making my friend do it now too.

Honest question, when you read the kynalion, what exactly did you understand from there? As I understand it, you need to have been initiated into the ‘ancient school of mysteries’ to actually make sense of the mumbo jumbo in there - prove me wrong otherwise!

Great list. 1 uncommon and rare book is “An Ascension Handbook” ~ Tony Stubbs. Check it out, if you can find it.
