MS Mohammed Sufait 81 :
Sir, I humbly request you not to take action against the entire Rohingya community because of the actions of a few individuals. We are Muslims and as Muslims, we are brothers and sisters. Our religion teaches us to show mercy, compassion, forgiveness, and understanding towards one another.
We are already a vulnerable refugee community who were forced to leave our beloved homeland, Myanmar, and seek shelter in Bangladesh. We sincerely appreciate the kindness, generosity, and hospitality that the people of Bangladesh have shown us.
Please do not let the mistakes of a few individuals destroy the future, dignity, and reputation of the entire Rohingya community. Anyone who commits a crime should be held individually responsible according to the law, but innocent people should not suffer because of someone else's actions.
Sir, we kindly ask you to give our community another opportunity. Please do not close the doors for all Rohingya people because of a few individuals. We hope you will continue to treat us with humanity, fairness, and compassion. We want to live peacefully, respect the laws of Bangladesh, and maintain a good relationship with our Bangladeshi brothers and sisters.
We are refugees, and your kindness and understanding mean so much to us. Please give us another chance so that we can rebuild trust and show that the Rohingya community also values peace, respect, and humanity.
Insha Allah, one day we hope to return to our beloved homeland, Myanmar, with peace, dignity, freedom, and our fundamental rights.
May Almighty Allah protect Bangladesh and its people, bless the Rohingya community, and strengthen the brotherhood between us. Ameen. ❤️
