Honestly, do it without him!! if he’s there, it’s just gonna make things worse.. I always do separate celebrations I have since we split if he wants to do something he can, but I’ve always made sure to do it without him , bc if he was there it would change the energy .🫶🏻🙌🙌

You and your son can have a special friendship due to circumstances. My son is 45. He always checks on me, visits; I manage to say anything I think I need to say..on a serious note, otherwise we each do our thing and get along. His father is passed. I think I’m finally over it. It took many years.

Typical narcissist behavior. My ex attempts to visit for a few hours the weekend before or after his visitation time. All holidays are on me, period. They always have been my responsibility so this didn’t come as a surprise.
