I worked ob x2 years. there were a set of boy/girl twins. boy got it and they refused for baby girl for this reason[Innocent]

I feel like these statistics never include parents who ask for the vitK drops or the preservative free option. Because majority of people who refuse the shot do the drops, It’s not a huge percent that just do nothing at all

So at my hospital they didn’t do circumcisions and had me schedule it otherwise myself through his ped if we wanted it. But never once was that clarified that he needed vitamin k before it??? we just opted for yes and found out later?

Something's wrong with this whole picture. I refused to mutilate my sons but I still got the vitamin k shot because I don't want to lose my babies to a brain bleed that's preventable. People have their priorities so screwed up...
