@nbcsouthflorida: Newly released body camera footage from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office shows emergency crews responding to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton’s South Florida home following a mental health crisis in which he repeatedly injured himself during a TikTok livestream. The footage, released Thursday, shows Miami-Dade Fire Rescue medics placing Hilton, whose legal name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., onto a stretcher on Aug. 4. Blood can be seen on the walls inside the home through the open front door as first responders prepare to take him to the hospital. Authorities said the 48-year-old was loaded into an ambulance and transported to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital for treatment. Deputies were initially dispatched to the home after receiving multiple calls reporting that Hilton was livestreaming acts of self-harm. #perezhilton #bodycam #MentalHealth #hospital

After what happened with this, I don’t think anybody should be releasing any of this footage even though it’s public. This was an awful thing that happened, a lot of people that shouldn’t have saw a lot of stuff they shouldn’t have. Bad taste posting this….

Mary Whitaker :

Should be private moment
