@soccercatmom: Does anyone else feel like no matter how much you do, it’s never enough? I feel like I live in a constant state of guilt sometimes. Guilty because the house isn’t spotless. Guilty because the laundry is piling up. Guilty because I haven’t volunteered in my kids’ classrooms as much as I’d like. Guilty because I can’t be everywhere, do everything, and be everything to everyone all at once. And the frustrating part? Sometimes that guilt becomes so overwhelming that it almost paralyzes me. I get so caught up thinking about all the things I should be doing that I struggle to even start doing them. Which, of course, just creates more guilt. It’s this exhausting cycle of feeling like I’m constantly falling short, even when I’m doing my best. I don’t really know why I’m sharing this, other than I have a feeling I’m not the only one who feels this way. So if any of this resonates with you, I just want you to know you’re not alone. We’re all juggling a million things, and maybe we need to start reminding ourselves that just because we could be doing more doesn’t mean we’re not already doing enough.
