@The Baby Steps Podcast 🎙️ And just like that, my mat leave is coming to a very swift end 🫣 to be honest, whilst there were many happy moments, like meeting my daughter for the first time and watching her develop into the amazing character that she is today, I will not sugar coat it. Nine months of mat leave felt like genuine, pure, hell - simply because I was well and truly sleep deprived, emotionally exhausted and just finding it really, truly hard. But once my beautiful baby Squish started to sleep better and I started to get a bit of time to myself again, everything changed and I’ve had a really nice time recently 🤸🏻 As you know, I’ve started to build the Baby Steps podcast, and I truly believe I could make this one of the UK’s leading parenting podcasts if I really keep up with it. So that’s exactly what I’m going to do. I’m going to find a way to do it alongside working and raising baby Squish, utilising evenings and weekends where I can. Because honestly, since having a baby, I’ve realised I can literally do anything. If I can get through what was probably one of the hardest nine months of my life, and that’s not even the pregnancy, I’m talking about once the baby was here 🙇🏻‍♀️ then I can pretty much do anything. I’m really excited for this next chapter 🥹 Anyway, in the meantime, it’s time to get the last few guests for the first series on board. I’m feeling really good about this, and we’re going to make it work one baby step at a time 🤍 Disclaimer: I absolutely love my baby. (It’s a shame we feel the need to say this when admitting that it’s hard) IYKYK 👶🏻 #babysteps #parentingpodcast #mumtokuk #contentcreator #newmum
