We always see someone’s external transformation because we have no idea what their journey looked like behind closed doors. 🫣 That first pic was taken at the 311 concert in 2019. I was in my HAPPY PLACE… but I didn’t feel like me. What you don’t see: 💔 heartache 💔 loneliness 💔 anxiety 💔 tears .. many, many tears 💔 disappointment 💔 binge drinking & blacking out an hour later I struggled to get so much weight off before that pic in 2019, only for it to all come back on when I wasn’t able to work out. 🙄 Not being able to work out took a toll on me mentally & I felt so alone. I began to binge eat late at night because of my depression. 😕 I hated seeing that first pic but was too embarrassed to ask my friend to take another one. I just started sharing that pic last year because it’s hard for me to look at it and NOT see the sadness behind those eyes. 😥 April 2020 … I was introduced to my happy juice 🥤 I’m so grateful for where I’m at today 🥰 I am the healthiest I have ever been in my life & I’m in my 40s!! 🤯 My doctor was so freaking impressed with my fat loss & glucose levels at my last physical too! It felt amazing to know EXACTLY how I’m doing it! And consistently for almost 3 years!! 🎉🤘 This is something that is sustainable over time even when you aren’t able to work out or healthy food options aren’t available to you. 🌻 It’s nice living a life without guilt of what I eat or if I get a workout in! 💁‍♀️ Even better …. My happy juice gets me moving when my depression begins to creep in. Like during the dark winter months ..
