@sfchronicle: A large contingent of San Francisco police descended on a notorious Sea Cliff home Friday morning, breaking through the front door and removing items from the property as part of a search warrant after months of complaints about alleged squatters and a disputed series of property deeds, according to neighbors who watched the operation. Police executed the warrant at about 7:30 a.m. at the home on the 200 block of 32nd Avenue, the San Francisco Police Department said. Officers surrounded the property with multiple police vehicles and yellow crime-scene tape as they searched the house. One neighbor said officers broke down the front door and took evidence from inside. Photos from the scene showed numerous uniformed officers outside the home, along with several marked SFPD SUVs. At least one person was escorted by officers during the operation, although police have not said whether anyone was arrested. SFPD declined to provide additional information Friday, saying only that the search was part of an active investigation. Video courtesy of Cameron Will
We need more vacancy taxes. If house hoarders didnt exist we wouldn’t even have squatters.

the fact that some people believe we don’t have enough homes in california, well what about the homes that aren’t even occupied for months? statistically people own homes to rent out at an incredibly unaffordable rate. people are being bought out of their properties. homelessness has spiked and most of them are local/natives. this is sad.
