Hearing the fear in my little girl’s voice over the radio would have fucked me up for life. As a father, knowing she was terrified and I couldn’t be there to hold her, comfort her, and tell her everything was going to be okay… I can’t fathom living after you lose your kid. Parents who have lost their children are way stronger than me mentally!
