The festival is set for April 9 to 11 and April 16 to 18 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. In early September, industry outlet HITS Daily Double reported that Dua Lipa and Tame Impala were booked as headliners, with Fred again.. slated for the "Returning to the Desert" slot. A newer report from TMZ in late October named SZA as the third headliner, and the same report claimed BTS and Rage Against the Machine were approached but declined. Miley Cyrus was also reportedly asked to headline and turned the offer down. If the reports hold, 2027 would be Dua Lipa's first full set at the festival and Tame Impala's second time headlining after 2019. SZA last played the main stage in 2018. Organizers have not commented on any of the speculation. The 2026 lineup was announced in September 2025, but the 2027 reveal has not yet happened, and it could still arrive anywhere from now through January.
