That nearly happened to my friend last year. The cop car ran a red light without its lights on. He had to veer out of the way and had to make a split second decision where to pull left and hit a bus going in the opposite direction or go right and slam into a light pull. He chose the pull and his head/helmet collided with it (busted the helmet) and he chipped his knee cap. Thank God he was OK, but that had to have been so scary.

The most reckless drivers I see in chicago are the CPD. I’ve seen them blow red lights without their lights on and almost hit pedestrians on multiple occasions
