Dressing is made with cornbread. Stuffing is made with the cubed bread.

My family will only eat Stove Top stuffing! 😂 I add chopped onions and celery, and I add a half cup more chicken stock instead of water, per box. 🥰

I love Stove Top! I think it’s because it’s what my family made so it feels like “tradition”. To me, it’s delicious

Inn East Coast Canada we make our dressing with stale bread picked by hand into small pieces, mashed potatoes, butter, onions and summer savoury. I usually use two loves of white dread and 8 good sized potatoes cooked and mashed, one very large onion finely chopped, half pound of melted butter, and lots of summer savoury, salt and pepper. This will adequately fill a 20 pound turkey as well as one corell baking dish

Dressing is when you dress around a turkey like a a casserole & stuffing is when you stuff the cavity of the bird 🦢

There lots & lots of stuffing recipes out there. All are good. My mom’s dressing was potato based with bread, onions, butter & tons of poultry seasoning. Mine is bread, onions, celery, carrots, chicken broth & savoury seasoning. I’ve never used sausage.
