Fellow tech here! I just want to say it does feel better on the arm and wrist to have the cord over the shoulder, but when I worked in the ER a few years ago we had a scenario where a patient pulled the tech towards them aggressively (the cord was wrapped around over the shoulder) and she couldn’t escape right away. You work in a different area of ultrasound so I’m sure it’s super unlikely (pt was a man) but I just want to throw that information at you for your own safety!
