@theuntoldtruthnews: Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed has rolled out a health policy platform aimed at banning pesticides already prohibited in Europe and getting toxins out of America’s food and water supply. The plan, called the Building a Healthier America Policy Agenda, includes backing the Pesticide Injury Accountability Act, a bill from New Jersey Senator Cory Booker that would let people sue pesticide manufacturers in federal court if their products cause harm. “Through my time as a public health doctor, I’ve seen the catastrophic consequences of our country’s food safety crisis up close,” El-Sayed said in a statement. “Corporations care more about their bottom line than the health of their consumers.” El-Sayed, who is running to court voters aligned with RFK Jr.’s Make America Healthy Again movement, has accused the Trump administration of siding with a major agrochemical company over farmers while rolling back forever-chemical limits in drinking water. His plan stops short of calling for a ban on glyphosate, one of the most widely used herbicides in American agriculture.
