Economic self-sufficiency is vital for our spiritual freedom. Relying entirely on secular employment often traps us in a system that drains our time and peak energy, leaving us too exhausted for worship, mid-week services, and fellowship. We are essentially giving our best to a system that doesn't prioritize our faith. True freedom of worship requires economic emancipation. By pursuing self-employment and building cooperative businesses within the body of Christ similar to the strong economic networks successfully modeled by Jewish and Muslim communities, we reclaim control over our time. When believers employ and support one another, we protect our sacred spaces and secure the liberty to serve God without needing a corporate employer's permission. This perfectly aligns with 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12, which commands us to make it our ambition to lead a quiet life, mind our own business, and work with our hands, so that our daily lives win the respect of outsiders and we will not be dependent on anybody.

I had a friend asked me this question: “Would the world be better off if you were wealthy?” Absolutely it would. I would be helping even more people than we’re helping right now. If more Christians were wealthy and understood the power of generosity we would be so so so much better thank you for your post. Keep it up.
