I purposely bought a 2WD. Towing capacity is higher and there's a lot less to go wrong. I've literally never needed 4WD and I live in Wisconsin.

Honestly, I only use 4x4 when it’s snowing. it’s one of those things that you don’t use much. But when you need it, you need it. And you’ll be kicking yourself in the foot for not spending the little bit extra for it.

4x4 is always easier, but RWD sells also, it just as to be in excellent condition versus a 4x4 could be in mediocre shape and still bring more money with higher miles
