@vlkodlakfl: ✈️ BREAKING: FATHER OF 20-YEAR-OLD FLORIDA JET CRASH CO-PILOT SPEAKS OUT An emotional new development in the deadly Florida Learjet 60 crash that killed nine people. For the first time since the tragedy, Allan Filgueiras has publicly spoken about his daughter, 20-year-old co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras. Speaking through tears on Friday, November 6, he revealed that he has listened to her final radio transmissions repeatedly, desperately searching for answers. What he heard left him heartbroken — but also incredibly proud. As the aircraft encountered severe turbulence, ice accumulation, and a terrifying descent, Nathalia continued communicating with air traffic controllers. Her father described her courage in those final moments, saying: “She showed me what it is to be a hero.” But the grieving father also had a message for those questioning his daughter’s experience. Despite being only 20 years old, Nathalia had accumulated more than 1,300 flight hours, completed extensive aviation training, and earned her commercial pilot’s license. Her family’s attorney emphasized that she was qualified to serve as the Learjet’s co-pilot. Nathalia had dreamed of flying since childhood. Her father, also a pilot, introduced her to aviation when she was just 12. Now, the family wants the world to remember her passion, professionalism, and courage — not just the tragedy that took her life. The National Transportation Safety Board continues investigating the November 1 crash near Greenacres, Florida. No official cause has been determined. Nine people lost their lives, including both pilots, two young children, and five other passengers. 🕊️ May Nathalia and all nine victims rest in peace. #Florida #NathaliaFilgueiras #privatejet #crash #News

Both pilots should have avoided that storm.Other small jets went around that storm and survived.

1300 hours is just a beginning pilot. No experience with real weather. It takes time. Many years are needed to see each season and locations to be an experienced pilot.

Everyone always needs to find a reason to put blame on one person. Let me guess as the co-pilot the PIC with all the experience allowed her to make wrong calls without taking control of the mic? Something’s says he knew instantly the result and there was no time she still tried. She was a couple hundred hrs short of having the requirement to be PIC. Stop finding blame!!
