@fitwithbritt: If you have a trampoline on your Christmas wishlist imma need you to take it off 🥲 We will keep ours but we’ll just be more mindful now on how to use it more safely (although them bouncing alone can still cause this break) but especially jumping with others is what creates a higher chance of it happening. My poor boy is now in a cast for the next few weeks so I’ve got the mum guilts badddd 😭 really not worth the risk!! #toddlermum #toddlermom #toddlerlife #trampoline #emergencyroom

This world is so soft….. I use to get double bounced to the moon ….. us grown ups are all fine and we had trampolines as kids

Make sure your child does not leave the house…. I hear kids can roll their ankles in the cracks of the footpath and maybe cause a fracture.

We were about to leave the trampoline place and my 4 year old double bounced my 1.5 year old and he hyper extended his knee! Was so scary, scans showed nothing but he couldn’t walk on it without screaming but had full range of movement. He came okay and then injured it again a couple weeks later so took him to a different hospital and they said there’s slight indication he had a hairline fracture healing. Was so traumatising

Sorry wtf is with these comments 😳 thank you for this video! I didn’t even think of the risks (and they’re much higher than rolling an ankle on the footpath 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️)

all 3 of my kids have jumped on the tramp since they were 3/4 yes old n no problems with them. maybe these kids need more calcium in their diets to toughen up their bones

These comments are not it. Good job spreading awareness, I didn't know it wasn't recommended under 6! We don't have a big one for our 4 year old but I will think about this when we are visiting family. A good option too is the little indoor one, I have this for my daughter and she loves it but it only fits her.

One accident doesn't mean we need to bubble wrap our kids. You could break bones from falling off a bike. does that mean we can't ride bikes?

My parents were paramedics and we were absolutely not allowed to have a trampoline. However, my son has cerebral palsy and a trampoline is considered a part of his therapy 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

That’s why they make smaller tramps not as bouncy.. and they have age and weight limits on them. I understand the awareness but it’s giving scaremongering.

I work in an urgent care clinic and this is one of the reasons I have not got a trampoline for my kids yet! So many injuries 😭 thank you for sharing your story..I do think there needs to be more awareness around this

I honestly thank you for this video. The grandparents keep asking if they can gift my 2 year old one, and I said no, and of course felt bad in saying so.

uhh so any christmas gift ideas for two boys 3 & 16 months old? cause we were going to just get them a trampoline so we didn’t end up with more toys they won’t play with for longer than a week

I would never have known this information but also think caution instead of fear is good . Trampolines are so much fun as a kid, we have a small indoor one my boy loves

My 10 yr old badly sprained his ankle on a trampoline and this was at a friends house after I got rid of ours. I will never own one again and he even does not go on friends trampolines anymore

It’s the double jumping that’s an issue. If you follow Nicole kids physio on insta she has a lot of info on it. I thought there was actually a tag on most trampolines saying they aren’t for under 6 (we have had one for our kids under 6 but were comfortable with the risk). Generally on their own under 6 totally fine, it’s when there is a large size/weight discrepancy that causes the issue
