However, she eventually becomes very close to them, especially Yui. The anime follows the girls through school events, exams, trips, concerts, and ordinary afternoons. As Yui, Mio, Ritsu, and Mugi reach their final year, they begin thinking about graduation. Azusa becomes sad because she will stay at the school while the others leave. The four girls promise that their friendship will continue. Before graduating, they write and perform a special song for Azusa. They also take a graduation trip to London, where they experience new things together. Eventually, the four older girls graduate, while Azusa continues the Light Music Club. K-On! is ultimately a story about friendship, growing up, and appreciating ordinary moments. It shows that simple experiences with people you care about can become some of the most valuable memories in life.
