I’m only a CNA/med tech, but I always got so much crap for showing up to work in a full face and with cute hair. “Why are you dressing up for work?” Girl if I didn’t dress up, I WOULD NOT BE HERE. It gives me such motivation to put myself together. It’s ingrained in me at this point.

if I didn’t glamorize it I would be miserable. If I didn’t try to make my outfits aesthetic and get my cup of coffee I would be miserable. All of those things make me happy and then I go to work ready for anything lol

I actually think it’s a positive thing for nursing influencers to glamorise nursing a little bit…the work is hard, exhausting and pretty gross a lot of the time - so if doing my hair extra cute and feeling good in my cute little scrub sets makes it even a little more fun then I’m going to do that!
