This is so sad & infuriating. I've known 2 people who've lost their lives as a result of a police chase; my bf's niece who was 19 & a friend's brother. Police shouldn't become involved in a chase. With all of the camera's & technology that's been available for YEARS now; the police should have no issue getting their target "criminal" after the fact. They are putting the lives of everyone at risk. The law is supposed to protect the citizens, not put them in a situation that can cost them their lives. And for what? A traffic violation or suspected criminal activity?! Not worth it. Period.

Chasing a criminal is absolutely ridiculous. Many times they already know who the person is. Chases are an ego trip and police should be held accountable for any and all 💀 resulting from a crash. The police, in my small town, will fly down the road (25 mph zone) doing 75 or more. The scary part, they are coming over a hill and could easily 💀 someone that is turning onto the road. Yes, people can hear the sirens, but when you're doing 75 in a 25, they are there in a split second!!
