@mrwiggitty: This is my friend Henry, my co workers dog that was saved from the shelter for being too aggressive and not afraid to bite anyone. He apparently was found abandoned eating anything he could find. He used to hate all men (understandably so), now he just hates most. It took about 3 or 4 months, treats, hand sniffs, no trigger spot petting, getting down to his level, and here we are! I even get belly on occasion, and paws on my knees! To me, it's an honor to gain an animals trust, especially one that comes from a troubled past. This has been the story of my life with traumatized pets and feels like a calling my life should shift to but simply isn't practical at this time.
