I work in a salon in a senior community, and this reminded me of one client that had to be reminded every couple minutes that she had to wait for her care giver to take her back to her room. she kept forgetting she was waiting and would get up every few seconds to try to go home, and at one point tried to buy *her* book from me.

unpopular view: it's not dementia. it is an act. he's surprisingly sometimes lucid for a "dementia" patient. of course we shouldn't go around diagnosing others regardless (Goldwater rule). it's been quiet because they're counting on American shortsightedness and impatience to make a resurgence in '28. everyone who voted this year NEEDS to vote in 2028. ideally every year. we should have all-state vote by mail and election day as a paid holiday already. let's watch this very reasonable comment be hidden. like and share

it’s definitely the older age plus his narcissism and power trip (if not something more medical) my parents in their 70s have lower self control with what they say than ever so i can only imagine if they had those other issues
