@thehermitagecatshelter: Hi, I’m Happy Gilmore, a 5 year old guy with a big personality who sometimes surprises people with how much energy I have. I came to The Hermitage as a rescue transfer in November 2023, and I’ve settled into shelter life with plenty to say and plenty of opinions. I can be playful and a bit pushy with other cats at times, so I may do best either as the only cat or with a confident feline friend who won’t put up with my nonsense. Medical note: I am both FeLV+ and FIV+. I also have a hernia on my side that has been evaluated by our veterinary team and does not require treatment. In my video, you’re catching a quieter side of me. I’m actually very content in the moment, enjoying some calm attention and pets. I have both sides to me: the active, playful boy and the relaxed guy who just wants to soak up affection. If you’re thinking of adopting, please fill out an adoption application before you come by. hermiecats.org/happy-gilmore
